Evolution

I would like to present to you the evolution of Xikorolkel's Xanga site: The Commonality network. Home of three seperate sub-blogs for different uses, the Commonality may be accessed at http://thecommonality.blogspot.com. Use of this site will henceforth be very limited, but its presence will be maintained in order to facilitate comments on other people's sites. To those who have read this blog either faithfully or sporatically, I thank you and invite you to visit the new network. God bless.

Last Message From Lookout Mountain For Seven Months!

It's 2:30AM and I am in the Carter computer lab checking my e-mail for the last time prior to a few short hours of sleep and what promises to be a most interesting trip home.  A half hour ago, Chris Nelson and I snuck my boxed belongings through the third floor and into storage.  The rest of my earthly goods lie suitcased in the hall.  My roommate is trying to sleep before his Greek final tomorrow morning.

Ah but regarding the trip home...  Basically, if either Vroeg or I die on our way down the mountain tomorrow, you should know what happened.  I have a shuttle to catch into Nashville at 7:30 this coming morning, and it began to ice up around 11 tonight.  In all likelihood, I will spend a good half hour trying to pry sheets of ice from the car windows and doors, and then we will slowly make our way downward.  Weather.com says that the temperatures are supposed to rise before early morning, but I'm not buying it for now.  If the conditions look too deadly, I guess I'll just find another way home, and I do have three hours work space around my flight.  Needless to say, fun times are ahead.  God knows what He's doing though; I'm confident that something will work out.

Merry Christmas!

Prayer Request for 2C

I know that there are a lot of things I should have posted about in the past number of weeks; life has been busy.  But, with half of 2C contracting the stomach flu during Finals Week, I think a humble prayer request is in order.  Thankfully, it seems to be one of the short-lived sicknesses.

A Brief Word

There are many things that I feel I ought to say upon my return from Mississippi, but today all I really want to do is publicly congratulate my friend Adam Skrivan on his recent engagement!
